Periodization

Many historians break United States History down into many different time periods. These time periods are called the Periodization of history, or simply put, Periodization. Depending on bias and point-of-view, the Periodization might be different with some time periods collapsed into one, or expanded into many, or some eliminated all together.
The following Periodization will be helpful for your understanding of the History of the United States.
