Polytheism

Monotheism

Thousands instead worship all the deities they recognised in ancient Egypt as polytheists. According to them, elements of nature, animal presumed real-life creatures, as well as physical, corporeal, or abstract standards transformed into deities. Worshiped almost the whole time during Ancient Egypt except... Pharaoh Akhenaten during the Amarna Period changed Egyptian religion to the worship of only one god, the Aten or Sun disk god. Associations with animals: Most gods and goddesses shared their characteristics or spheres with animals. For example, Bastet and cats, Sekhmet and lions.
