What is Geography?

The study of the relationship between the people and the earth.

There are 5 Themes of Geography

  • Location
    • Where are you?
  • Place
    • Where you are as compared to Someone Else
  • Human-Environment Interactions
    • How You Interact with your surroundings (Environment
  • Movement
    • How you move from place to place
  • Regions
    • What name we call a place for others
      • Formal - by Government or Administration
      • Purpose - for a specific need
      • People's View - to make it easier to explain
