Aim: The history of China in the 20th century took many turns, how did this affect China then and today?

Procedure

Students will start with a 'Do Now. This will connect vocabulary terms for today's webquest.
A class discussion regarding the terms and connections to the 5w's of history will occur.
Students will be distributed iPads for their Webquest on China in the 20th century.
Students will either work in peer groups or independently.
Students will complete their webquest online (paperless)
A class discussion regarding China in the 20th century and Mao's leadership will occur. A comparison to China today will be discussed and debated.
Students will take a quiz before leaving the classroom. (last 10 min)
