Global Regents Webquest Review - Task 2
Turning Points

The next skill is called Periodization. Simply explained it is putting events into certain major time periods. We often call this events "Turning Points". Turning Points are specific times in history in which there is a major shift in history. Sometimes these are also called revolutions, but sometimes they are only known by their defined characteristics.
The skill involves three specific strategies:
- Putting the Turning Points in chronological (time order)
- Defining what change the Turning Point achieved
- Associating vocabulary, people, places, and events with each Turning Point
Please follow the steps in order.
Step #1 - Chronological Reasoning
Chronological Reasoning is putting events in time order (periodization) and knowing the causes and effects.
