Worshiped almost the whole time during Ancient Egypt except...	Pharaoh Akhenaten during the Amarna Period changed Egyptian religion to the worship of only one god, the Aten or Sun disk god. It was short-lived and when Akhenaten died the Pharaoh, the famous Tutankhamun reverted the religion back to polytheism.
